"Take Me Home" es el segundo álbum de estudio de One Direction, la banda juvenil surgida de The X Factor en la televisión británica. Lanzado el 9 de noviembre de 2012 por Syco Music y Columbia Records, resultó tener un gran éxito a nivel internacional, al igual que sucediera con su álbum debut, "Up All Night". Cada tema del álbum fue escrito por un grupito de compositores y fueron grabados en Suecia a lo largo de 2012.

Las canciones se caracterizaran por sus armonías vocales, los riffs de guitarras y sintetizadores y el uso de aplausos. El papel de vocalista se lo reparten a partes iguales, de forma rotativa y cantando siempre en solitario. Las letras tratan de amores no correspondidos, celos y compromiso. Los elogios llegaron por la calidad de la producción (un elenco de productores internacionales), aunque también destacaron cierta premura en la publicación que impidió afinar la grabación en algunos aspectos.

El album se alzó en lo más alto de las lista de más de 35 países en todo el mundo, siendo el cuarto disco más vendido a nivel mundial en 2012, con casi cuatro millones y medio de copias vendidas. En Estados Unidos, "Take Me Home" debutó en el primer puesto de la lista Billboard 200, siendo el primer grupo que consigue colocar sus dos primeros trabajos en tal posición desde que en 2008 lo hicieran Danity Kane. En este caso, los dos álbumes de One Direction entraron en la lista Billboard 200 con una diferencia menor a doce meses.

El sencillo principal es el titulado "Live While We're Young", lanzado el 28 de septiembre de 2012. El sencillo se colocó en el top10 en la mayoría de países de referencia. Otros sencillos que se estrenaron de este álbum fueron "Little Things" y "Kiss You", que obtuvieron un menor éxito, aunque el primero de ellos logró auparse al primer puesto de las listas británicas.

Para promocionar este segundo álbum de One Direction, la banda se embarcó en 2013 en una extensa gira mundial titulada"Take Me Home Tour".
