El cuarto álbum de estudio de la cantante Lily Allen se titula "No Shame" y apareció publicado el 8 de junio de 2018 bajo el sello discográfico Parlophone, contando con la producción ejecutiva de Seb Chew y la propia Lily.

Entre el anterior trabajo de Lily Allen en 2014, "Sheezus" y este "No Shame" sucedieron varias cosas en la vida de la cantante que provocaron un colapso emocional que afectaron a su carrera musical. Por un lado la traumática separación de su esposo. Por otro, una crisis de identidad que le impidió encontrar su propio espacio. Todo ello, unido al consumo abusivo de drogas y alcohol, provocaron un colapso total en la sumió en una gran debacle personal.

Este álbum, que se grabó entre 2015 y 2018, habla de esta etapa de la cantante británica, con letras que, como el propio título del disco, "No Shame", hablan "sin vergüenza" sobre sus problemas personales como una terapia para solucionarlos. Y como tal fue concebido por Lily Allen, con temas compuestos por ella misma que hablan sobre su abuso de drogas, su divorcio de Sam Cooper, la forma sensacionalista que tiene alguna prensa de dar las noticias o el efecto que en su vida tuvo la actitud acosadora de un fanático obsesivo durante varios años.

"No Shame" nos ofrece catorce canciones de estilo electropop que en su producción se alejó de los grandes arreglos para centrarse en lo personal, canciones que son confesiones, que hablan de su ruptura ("Lost My Mind", "Apples"), de la relación con sus hijos ("Three") o sobre su pérdida de identidad ("Everything to Feel Something").

Pero también hay oportunidad para hablar de una nueva relación personificada en su nuevo novio, Meridian Dan, con quien viene saliendo desde 2016, y de los miedos a iniciar nuevos compromisos.

"No Shame" debutó en el octavo puesto en Reino Unido y aunque no llegó a los niveles de ventas de trabajos anteriores, sí es cierto que obtuvo buenas reseñas por parte de la crítica profesional.

"No Shame" coincidió con la publicación en septiembre del mismo año de un libro de autobiográfico titulado "My Thoughts Exactly", en el que Lily se sincera sobre los temas que trata el disco y otros muchos de carácter personal y familiar.
