"ABBA" es el tercer álbum de estudio de ABBA, lanzado al mercado el 21 de abril de 1975 por el sello Polar Music y contando con la producción de Benny Andersson y Björn Ulvaeus. Contaba con algunos de los temas más conocidos del grupo sueco, como "SOS", "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" y "Mamma Mia".
"ABBA" vino precedido por el anterior gran éxito del cuarteto sueco, al álbum "Waterloo" y el tema del mismo título con el que ABBA ganó el festival de Eurovisión en 1974. El reconocimiento de ABBA ya era mundial, encabezando las listas en Europa y Australia y con gran éxito en Estados Unidos y Reino Unido.
"Mamma Mia" es la canción con la que se inicia el álbum. Escrita por Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus y Stig Anderson y con las voces de Agnetha Fältskog y Anni-Frid Lyngstad, fue lanzada como sencillo en septiembre de 1975 y alcanzó el número uno en Reino Unido, por primera vez tras el famoso "Waterloo".
"I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" fue el tercer sencillo del álbum "ABBA" y fue lanzado en abril de 1975. Inspirada en el estilo de la música schlager europea de la década de 1950, el grupo sueco consigue traernos una conmovedora melodía de saxofón que les puso de nuevo en lo más alto de las listas y que vino acompañado por un vídeo promocional.
"SOS" apareció como quinto sencillo del tercer álbum del cuarteto sueco y fue lanzado en junio de 1975. La canción se inicia con una introducción de piano, seguida por la entonación vocal de Agnetha Fältskog, quien imprimió al tema un aire melancólico y lastimero lleno de sensaciones y emociones, algo que pronto definiría el estilo de ABBA.
